Yay! by 10Joules My new M1 line was cut earlier today. The reason? Because I have yet to submit a so called "proof of billing address" to M1. This was done despite my PROMPT payment of my first bill upon being billed. I sincerely believe that the proof of billing address is just a precautionary measure on M1's part to make sure that customers will get their monthly bills as they are sent out by M1, so that customers cannot complain that the bill was sent to the wrong address and so on and so forth. If that is the case, WHY ON EARTH was my prompt payment of the exact outstanding amount on the September'08 bill NOT proof enough that I AM receiving my bills, in other words, the billing address is CORRECT?! I called up the customer service hot-line today (2nd of Oct, 10.40pm) and was told that my line was clipped for the reason stipulated above. When I attempted to reason with the operator, I was initially told that M1 needed me to prove my address was correct.
